Looking Back At Last Month

Annual Barbie-Q Summer Games

Pink was the dress code. Good vibes were mandatory.

Our annual Barbie-Q Summer Games was one for the books! From friendly competition and backyard games to great food and even better company, the energy was unmatched. We even ran out of food (again 😅), which can only mean one thing… this community knows how to show up.

Huge thanks to everyone who joined us and made it such a memorable day. Already counting down to next year’s Barbie-Q!

What Residents are Saying

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

"The Lark is such a family friendly community, and we truly call this place home. Having kids, safety is our top priority, and we feel very safe and secure here. The garage is gated, all of our packages are kept in a locked package room, there are plenty of cameras around the building, and our leasing manager even lives on-site, which makes things even better. I appreciate the staff the most for being so good at what they do for our community, and they even do charity and volunteer work! The location is also highly convenient since it’s just a minute away from the 101 and 280, close to the mall, surrounded by plenty of good schools, and within walking distance of a Japanese market. It's a very safe and quiet neighborhood. They host community events every month, which we always look forward to! Yesterday we celebrated the "BARBIE-Q," a Barbie-themed BBQ party. My kids loved it, everyone had a blast, and there was even a DJ and a bartender. We shared great food and really enjoyed the prizes we won from participating in the games. We love living here! We love Ruby!"

Central Park Music Series

Sunset Sounds at Central Park
Looking for a fun, active way to unwind outdoors this month? Take an evening stroll down to Downtown San Mateo for the Central Park Music Series! The last show will be on Thursday, August 6th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, the park lawn comes alive with live swing and big band favorites from the Bud E. Luv Orchestra. Grab a picnic blanket, enjoy a bite from local food trucks, or pick up a drink at the beer and wine garden benefiting the San Mateo Parks and Recreation Foundation. For a complete wellness outing, pair the show with a relaxing pre-concert walk through the park’s serene Japanese Tea Garden before finding your spot on the grass to enjoy the music.

The Good Neighbor

The Golden Rule

Being a Great Neighbor Starts with the Little Things

A wonderful community is built by neighbors who look out for one another. Keeping noise at a considerate level, using designated smoking areas, breaking down boxes before placing them in the trash room, and leaving shared amenities just as you found them helps create a welcoming home for everyone. Thank you for doing your part to keep The Lark clean, comfortable, and enjoyable for all. We appreciate you!
